West Coast’s ‘Starry Nites’ Expands Lineup

March 18-19 is when Starry Nites takes over the Live Oak Campground. Organizers are boasting that Cat Power’s addition is the first 2017 date announced for the artist / songwriter / actress. 

Also appearing are Black Mountain, Lumerians, Elvis Depressedly, Kolars, Feels, Cellar Doors, The Asteroid #4, Immigrant Union, Zodiac Death Valley, The Blank Tapes and many others. 

Memories of incense and peppermints will abound when the festival welcomes a 50th anniversary performance by ’60s psychedelic band The Strawberry Alarm Clock

Starry Nites is working with PledgeMusic to provide several ticket packages. Of course, general weekend passes, including RV and weekend options are available. Other packages include the $175 Artist Pass that includes a Starry Nites poster signed by one of the performers; the $350 Couples Retreat that doubles up on festival and camping passes as well as posters, T-shirts and swag bags; and the $500 Party Pass that includes four festival passes and posters. 

Other packages include Group Campsite ($650), RV Camping Package ($750) and the Trio Bundle ($400). The top-priced entry is the Joshua Tree Recording Package. Priced at $5,000, it includes eight studio sessions at Skylab Studio in Joshua Tree with producer / engineer / Starry Nites co-founder Tommy Dietrick. The Joshua Tree package gives you and your band entry to the festival.
