ACM Taps Opry’s Fisher As CEO
Pete Fisher becomes only the second CEO in the Academy of Country Music’s history with the group’s announcement of his promotion that takes effect Jan. 30.
Fisher takes the seat from Bob Romeo, who stepped down from the position in May after 13 years as CEO. Prior to that, the ACM was managed by Fran and Bill Boyd from its inception in 1964.

Prior to joining the Opry, Fisher was a partner in Fisher Raines Entertainment and director of creative services at WarnerSongs.
