The country music superstar has dates scattered across the U.S. throughout the year, with his first scheduled appearance being in West Wendover, Nev., on Feb. 3.

The singer takes the stage at the Country 500 festival in Daytona Beach, Fla., May 27 and heads over to New Orleans for another festival appearance the following day, May 28, at Bayou Country Superfest. From there Hank Jr. has a few headline shows, with his last stops being back-to-back in Airway Heights, Wash., Sept. 15 and Puyallup, Wash., on Sept. 16. The latter will be at the Washington State Fair.

Hank has been a figure in country music since he was born, really, as his father was a seminal figure in the evolution of country music. Fortunately for Hank Jr., he found his own style and has been releasing albums since 1964. His most recent project was It’s About Time in 2015.

Here is a classic clip of Hank Williams Jr. and Sr. performing “There’s a Tear In My Beer” together, thanks to wonders of 1989 video technology.

Williams seems to [wisely] be staying out of politics these days. When Taste of Country asked Williams in February of last year about the U.S. Presidential Election, he said “I don’t give a [expletive] about the election, I’ve got a smash CD coming out!”
