Chicago Open Air Loads Up On Metal

Ozzy Osbourne, KISS and Korn are the headliners for this year’s Chicago Open Air. Others planning to crank up the volume include Rob Zombie, Slayer, Godsmack, Stone Sour, Megadeth and more.

The wild deluge of monster riffs, thundering drums and earthshaking vocals happens July 14-16 at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, Ill. 

But despite what common sense tells you, fans do not live on rock alone. That’s why Chicago Open Air will serve up craft beer and a Gourmet Man Food Festival in addition to the decibel onslaught. 

Other attractions include the Chicago Open Air Fiesta hosted by SiriusXM Liquid Metal personality Jose Mangin, with details to be announced later. And don’t forget the pre-party going down at Concord Music Hall July 13.
