Sheeran Playing Two Radio Shows Down Under

Ed Sheeran plays two intimate shows for rival radio networks in Australia in the lead-up to the March 3 release of his third album, ÷ (Divide).

He last played Australia in December 2015, setting new attendance records. The two radio shows, announced Jan. 16, coincided with the release of the latest official ARIA (Australian Recording Industry Association) charts that showed that Sheeran as the first act to enter the singles chart at No. 1 and No. 2 with new songs – a feat which he earlier achieved in the UK. Both set a new streaming record for Australia, amassing more than 748,000 combined streams in the first 48 hours of release.
