Rod Stewart Teams Up With Cyndi Lauper

The recently knighted Sir Rod Stewart is joining forces with special guest Cyndi Lauper for a full North American tour over the summer.

The dates open up on July 6 in Hollywood, Fla., and continue for more than a month, wrapping up with some sweet sounds in Sugar Land, Texas, on Aug. 12.

In order to promote the tour, the two artists will be appearing together on the television programs “The Today Show” and “Watch What Happens Live” on Jan. 25 and “Access Hollywood” on Jan. 27.  

Despite being 72 years old, Stewart is still trotting the globe in a big way.

The next place Sir Rod is performing is in Krakow, Poland, on Feb. 19, and he will remain in Europe through February. He also plays Isle of Wight Festival in Newport, England, on June 11, has two gigs in Mexico in March and performs a show in Israel June 14.

Rod Stewart will also be holding down a Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum At Caesars Palace, starting on March 17.

Cyndi Lauper is in Australia with Blondie in April, and closes that month with an appearance at Stagecoach California’s Country Music Festival in Indio, Calif.
