Sturgis Buffalo Chip & ReverbNation Bring Bands To S.D.

ReverbNation has allied with The Sturgis Buffalo Chip for the second consecutive year by bringing five of its bands to join headliners August 4-12.

“ReverbNation has a wealth of incredibly talented artists,” Sturgis Buffalo Chip President Rod Woodruff said. “They have a proven track record of delivering artists that live music fans love, and we’re very excited to again be working with them this summer.”

ReverbNation prides itself on being “the global leader in empowering independent artists to advance their careers.” ReverbNation isn’t naming names yet and so who might be appearing is anyone’s guess. After all, ReverbNation works with more than 4 million artists.

Speaking of guessing, fans can enter the “Guess the Band Contest” for a chance to win a prize pack and a Buffalo Chip Fan VIP Upgrade. The latest clue is “Three Drink Minimum.” The contest page on BuffaloChip.com asks fans to guess which of the following bands will be announced: Godsmack, The Pretty Reckless, “Weird Al” Yankovic, Alice Cooper, Tesla, George Thorogood & the Destroyers, ZZ Top, Peter Frampton, Steve Miller Band, Dierks Bentley, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Miranda Lambert, Reverend Horton Heat, Doobie Brothers, Soundgarden, or Loverboy.

The 2016 festival featured performances from a long list of artists including Miranda Lambert, Willie Nelson, 3 Doors Down, Kid Rock, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Cheap Trick, Five Finger Death Punch, Buckcherry, and “Weird Al” Yankovic.
