Frank Prods. To Honor Mother With Venue

Wisconsin-based Frank Productions will build a concert hall in honor of one of its founders, Sylvia Frank.

The company’s Larry and Fred Frank announced “The Sylvee,” a 2,500-capacity concert venue in Madison, Wis.

The building is named after the brothers’ late mother Sylvia, who founded Frank Productions with husband Herb in 1964. Frank Productions now bills itself as the largest independent concert promoter in North America.

Construction is to begin in the spring and The Sylvee is expected to begin hosting shows in summer 2018.

Sylvia Frank died in 2006.
