Willie Nelson Cancellations

Sometimes the show can’t go on. Willie Nelson has nixed this weekend’s performances because of sickness.

The 83-year-old outlaw country singer was supposed to take the stage at Las Vegas’ The Venetian Theatre to play his residency “Willie Nelson & Family: Vegas On My Mind.” An announcement on his Facebook post notes that the Jan. 28 & 29 gigs are canceled and will not be rescheduled.

No details were giving about what’s ailing Willie other than to say the cancellation is “due to recent illness.”

Willie is expected to make the next three Vegas dates, which are scheduled Feb. 1 and 3-4.
