Steve Miller Plots Tour With Peter Frampton

Steve Miller Band is flying like an eagle to a town near you! The band is bringing its parade of classic hits on a North American tour with Peter Frampton joining as a special guest.

Steve Miller Band drawing from its extensive catalogue of hits is always a major draw on its own, but one unique aspect of this tour will be Frampton performing a special acoustic set to promote tunes from his latest Acoustic Classics album.

“Over the years [Peter and I] have played together in venues from theatres to football stadiums and everything in between,” Miller said in a press release. “He always sets the musical bar high, his band always knocks me out and I’m thrilled we are going to spend the summer together doing a great run of concerts.”

Miller was recently inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame, where he made some waves dissing the “fat cats” who were honoring him.

The tour dates open up June 15 in Holmdel, N.J. and go for nearly two months, until Aug. 13 in Murphy’s, Calif.
