Jaguars To Open Daily’s Place

Bold Events, an affiliate company to the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars in Florida, announced Jan. 27 the first schedule of shows set to open the new Daily’s Place as of May.

 The 5,500 seat amphitheater, under construction next to EverBank Field, will host acts such as Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds, Dierks Bentley, Daily’s Place, and more, according to the Jacksonville Business Journal. 

“This is only the beginning,” said Bold Events/ Jaguars President Mark Lamping. “Daily’s Place is a landmark project in the ongoing revitalization of downtown Jacksonville. Our goals for the amphitheater have always been two-fold – to build a state-of-the-art facility that would attract first-class artists to downtown Jacksonville and to program the venue year-round with a cross section of musical genres for fans across the First Coast and beyond.” 

Live Nation will handle booking and co-management duties at Daily’s Place. 

“We are very excited to be working with Shad Khan, Lamping, Chad Johnson and the entire Jacksonville Jaguars team in this world-class facility,” Neil Jacobsen, president of Live Nation Florida, told the Journal. “The Jaguars do everything first class, and this new facility will be no exception. 

“We look forward to a very successful partnership that will change the musical landscape of downtown Jacksonville.”
