Rapino Speaks On Immigration Ban

The head of

– Michael Rapino

In the statement, Michael Rapino embraces the diversity of his organization’s staff, cites the fact that the company operates in 41 countries, and states that LN is “fundamentally opposed to an immigration policy that divides us along religious lines or borders.”

“I want to assure you that HR has reached out to those in our organization who are potentially affected by the ban and we will continue to help our employees in any way possible to navigate through this confusing time.”

He closes by inviting his employees to approach him directly with concerns and ideas.

The letter is a response to an executive order issued from the White House Jan. 27 which temporarily bans travel to the U.S. from seven Muslim-majority countries. The order was met with confused implementation at airports around the world and protest from immigrant groups and advocates.

Rapino also recently retweeted a message from Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau welcoming migrants fleeing persecution, terror and war to Canada.
