North America Gets Deftones, Rise Against Co-Bill

Heavy hitting rock acts Deftones and Rise Against are joining forces for a tour that criss-crosses North America. The co-headline bill is a part of the Ticket To Rock package being pushed by Live Nation.

The joint outing kicks off in Rise Against’s hometown of Chicago, at Huntington Bank Pavilion @ Northerly Island June 9. The tour runs a full month, finishing up with a show in Boston’s Blue Hills Bank Pavilion.

The Ticket To Rock packages are bundles that get you into multiple shows over the summer. Participating artists include Korn, Incubus, Sublime With Rome, Godsmack, Live, Jimmy Eat World, Stone Sour and The Pretty Reckless.

“Every once in awhile you get to share the stage with a band so powerful they make you work harder. After conspiring for years, we’re excited to finally share the road with such an epic band. We can’t wait to put Deftones & Rise Against fans under the same roof in 2017,” Rise Against said in a statement.

Rise Against’s most recent album is 2014’s The Black Market. Deftones released Gore last year. Rise against has a couple performances booked in South America before the NA run, and Deftones has a lengthy trek booked in Europe, starting in April. Deftones also has one European festival gig, Portugal’s Super Bock Super Rock Festival, booked July 15, near the end of the co-bill.
