Jethro Tull’s Ian Anderson Strings Together U.S. Run

Ian Anderson and some of his Jethro Tull band members are hitting the U.S. this year, and the boys also have plans to travel internationally.

Anderson will also be putting on “Jethro Tull by Ian Anderson” shows with David Goodier on bass, John O’Hara on keyboards, Florian Opahle on guitar and Scott Hammond on drums. The first of those gigs is in Albuquerque, N.M., on May 27 and that run continues for four more nights, concluding June 1 in Durant, Okla. Another May date is still being teased.

The shows are being described as “Best of Jethro Tull multimedia performances.”

Ian Anderson’s most recent project is Jethro Tull – The String Quartets, twelve Tull songs in classical arrangements. The LP will hit U.S. shelves March 24 and is available for pre-order now.
