A Super Bowl party featuring Snoop Dogg, Flo Rida, and Future among others in Houston didn’t happen and the promoter said ISIS was to blame. Well, that’s a new one.

Sources connected to the venue told TMZ that the promoter never came up with the money to pay for the celebrities and vendors.

As for the performers, sources close to them told TMZ that they never signed a contract because no money was advanced.

There was a bomb threat a few blocks away but it didn’t play a part in the no-shows, apparently. The party was to feature Nick Cannon and Floyd Mayweather, and the latter even promoted the party on social media, but both bailed. Ticket packages ran from $75 to $5,000.
