Richie Kotzen ‘Salting’ U.S.

– Richie Kotzen

With fresh tunes off his 21st solo album, Richie Kotzen is running around North America for just less than one month.

The first night of the tour was April 21 in Agoura Hills, Calif., and continues until May 17 in Bethlehem, Pa. Afterwards there are plans to bring Kotzen into Mexico, South America and Europe.

Kotzen’s new album, Salting Earth, comes out April 14, just a week before the tour kicks off. Now that the recording has wrapped up, Kotzen said he is excited to hit the road.

“My real outlet is touring – playing live as much as I can, wherever I can, whenever I can,” the artist said in a statement. “It’s one of the few things you can’t copy, steal, or download. It’s an engaging human experience that’s a give-and-take between both the performer and the audience, and there is nothing else like it on this earth.”
