Future has become a standard bearer for trap music and the Atlanta-style of hip hop that continues to gain momentum around the country. While many hip hop purists criticize his rhymes, his output is remarkable. In 2016 he basically lived in the studio, recording the solo album EVOL, dropping the Purple Reign mixtape and featuring on albums from DJ Khaled, Drake, and Lil Durk. He also went on tour with Drake and is widely recognized to have provided a template for artists like Desiigner to shoot to the top of the radio charts.
Migos, Tory Lanez and Kodak Black support all the dates, and there is still no word on which dates will have Young Thug or A$AP Ferg.
