Arcade Fire Burns Through Europe
Festival appearances and headline dates are the name of the game across the pond as Arcade Fire pushes a new single and documentary about the making of its last album.
The new single, titled I Give You Power and featuring Mavis Staples, came out last month. Check out the audio below:
You can hear that song and other Arcade Fire tunes in Europe this summer, starting at Primavera Sound in Barcelona on June 3. The majority of the band’s gigs are festival appearances, but there are also headline shows in Ireland, Germany, the United Kingdom, France and Italy. The final date on the books is July 18 at
Arcade Fire is also promoting “The Reflektor Tapes,” the film made about the production of its last LP, Reflektor. That project became available for purchase last month. Check out the trailer here:
