Elton John Headed To Australia

Fans will want to make sure they get tickets to Elton John’s 2017 trek. After all, with a name like the “Once In A Lifetime” tour, you know it’s going to be good. This week Elton added Australia to his worldwide tour plans.

This year’s tour is extra special because Elton is celebrating the 50th anniversary of his writing partnership with Bernie Taupin.

The setlist for the new Australia dates will feature greatest hits from throughout his career. Fingers crossed he’ll play “Rocket Man” and “Bennie and the Jets.”

The brief run of gigs Down Under is made up of three shows at outdoor venues he’s never played before.

Sept. 22 – MacKay, Australia, BB Print Stadium Mackay
Sept 24 – Wollongong, Australia, Win Entertainment Centre
Sept. 30 – Cairns, Australia, Cazaly’s Stadium

An announcement on Elton’s website says that onsale details for Rocket Tickets and “Behind the Piano Backstage Tour Packages” will be revealed soon.

Elton also has previously announced headline dates booked in North America, South America and Europe, as well as another run of “Million Dollar Piano” residency gigs in Las Vegas. Visit EltonJohn.com for more information.
