Howie Day’s Winter/Spring Tour Plans

After playing last night’s show in his adopted home base of New York City, Howie Day has a U.S. travel itinerary booked that will keep him busy performing through June as he continues supporting his most recent album.

Day independently released 2015’s Lanterns as the follow-up to 2009’s Sound the Alarm album on Epic Records.

“This record was funded by fans and me. No one else. … There were no artistic compromises,” Day said. “With all of the noise in the digital realm these days, promotion by word of mouth is so much more powerful than all of the radio and TV in the world because it’s more fun discovering a new album from a friend, and a thousand times more authentic.”
