Cher Tacks On Vegas Dates

Do you believe in Cher in Vegas? Well you better, because the progenitor of Sin City’s residencies has added 18 nights of her “Classic Cher” shows to her schedule.

The gigs will be at Park Theater at the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino, the 5,300-capactiy venue which opened last year. The theater is billed as “the first step in the recently announced reimagination of Monte Carlo,” which will eventually feature two distinct hotel experiences.

The new dates run Aug. 2-19 and Nov. 8-25. There are also a number of gigs booked at MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Md., March 17-26 and Aug. 31 through Sept. 10.

Those two venues are currently the only places to catch the icon this year.

Cher has been a showbiz staple for generations. Not only has she topped charts through several decades, she has set trends in fashion, been a notable philanthropist and been half of power couples with Sonny Bono and Greg Allman. She turns 71 in May.

May: 3, 5-6,10, 12-13, 17, 19-20
August: 2,4,5,9, 11-12, 16, 18-19
November: 8, 10-11, 15, 17018, 21, 24-25
