Michael Franti And Spearhead’s ‘Love Out Loud Tour’

“Ready to put your dancing shoes on and celebrate life? Come rock with us when we’re in your town!” Michael Franti and Spearhead posted on Facebook. Oh yes, Soulrockers, he’s talking to you.

The “Love Out Loud Tour” launches Thursday with a sold out show at the Bear Tooth Theatre Pub in Anchorage, Alaska.

In April Franti and his band are headed to South Africa, where they’ll play a handful of festivals including Parklife and Lush.

There’s a good chance Franti will share some inspirational words on tour. In the meantime you can visit his Facebook page for some uplifting messages.

“Today all of us are being called to take our citizenry game to new levels,” he posted Feb. 27. “To stand up, to speak out and perhaps most importantly to reach out to those we may disagree with, to listen to be heard and to not give in to darkness, but to be the light we want to see in the world today. Choose now to be your best!”

The general onsale for most dates began today. Some shows go on sale March 3. Visit MichaelFranti.com and check with your local venue for more information.
