Okeechobee Sells Out

The Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival sold out its second incarnation, which takes  place in Okeechobee, Fla., March 2-5 featuring Kings of Leon, Usher & The Roots, Sturgill Simpson, The Lumineers, and many others.  

The festival was promoted by Soundslinger, which included founders Steve Sybesma and Paul Peck for the inaugural event but, for the second year, it was stressed to Pollstar that there was less emphasis “on an individual” and more as a team “much like DoLab, Goldenvoice, Superfly, etc.”

That team includes founder Jim Tobin as well as John Conk, Kevin Collinsworth, Ben Baruch, Emily Kessler, Nikos Katsounis, Kulturehaus and “thousands” of staff.
