‘The Last Waltz 40 Tour’ Extends Routing

“The Last Waltz 40 Tour” isn’t done dancing yet. Thanks to “overwhelming demand” and sold out shows in multiple cities, another leg of dates has been added to the tour celebrating the 40th anniversary of The Band’s historic farewell concert.

The tour was created by Blackbird Presents CEO Keith Wortman and is led by guitarist/vocalist Warren Haynes along with producer/musician Don Was. The new leg of dates features Dr. John, Jamey Johnson, Terence Higgins, Danny Louis and an all-star horn section led by Mark Mullins, playing the original horn arrangements of Allen Toussaint. The lineup also includes special guests Cyril Neville, Dave Malone and Bob Margolin. Additional special guests are yet to be announced.
