The next place to catch the former Pollstar HotStar is West Lafayette, Ind., tomorrow. Cage the Elephant is booked for a South American run before “Live and Unpeeled,” including appearances at Lollapalooza Brazil, Lollapalooza Argentina and Lollapalooza Chile.
The band also has festival appearances scheduled in North America and Europe including plays at Gasparilla, Shaky Knees, Governors Ball, Bonnaroo, Rock For People, Mad Cool Festival, and Forecastle Festival.
So far, 2017 has been a year of highs and lows for Cage The Elephant. The group won the 2017 Best Rock Album Grammy for Tell Me I’m Pretty, but guitarist Brad Shultz and the band are being sued by a fan who was hit by a guitar Shultz threw into crowd.
Speaking of guitars, donating to the band’s Crowdrise account will benefit Buddy House/Down Syndrome of Southern Kentucky and gives fans a chance to meet the band, get special tickets and a signed acoustic axe.
