Yngwie Malmsteen Books ‘World On Fire Tour’

Happy Friday! Let’s rock! Yngwie Malmsteen has loaded up his tour schedule with a run of North American gigs for the “World On Fire Tour.”

The Swedish guitar god will be back on our shores in May after traveling the States in 2016 as part of the “Generation Axe Tour” with Steve Vai, Zakk Wylde, Nuno Bettencourt and Tosin Abasi.

Malmsteen’s new headline tour supports his most recent album, 2016’s World On Fire. While you can expect to hear selections from the new LP, an announcement on Facebook promises that the setlist will feature “pieces from the legendary neo-classical stylings of Rising Force (1984) as well as songs from the fierce World On Fire, and material from everything in between.”
