Time For An Evening With Toto

Toto enjoyed its reunited headline run last year so much, it had to do it again. The band is hitting the road once more, playing tunes from its new album and hits from an extensive catalog.

The new tour dates start June 2 in Lake Charles, La., and mostly stick to the regional South, Northeast and Midwest. The last stop currently on the routing is July 1 in Salina, Kan., but the band is promising more shows will be announced.

Toto is back in a big way these days. The band released Toto XIV in 2015, its first original album in nearly a decade, toured with Yes in 2015 and took solo shows in 2016. On a sad note, former bassist Mike Porcaro, brother of keyboardist Steve Porcaro, died in 2015.

The “core members” of Toto are Porcaro, Steve Lukather on guitars and vocals, David Paich on keys and vocals, Joseph Williams on lead vocals. Lenny Castro and Shannon Forest are also joining for percussion and drums, Shem von Schroeck is playing the bass and Warren Ham is on saxophone and vocals.

The band claims its members have been heard on 5,000 albums combined, though to be fair, the list of former Toto members is long.

After the U.S. headline tour, there are European dates booked in July and August, most of which are festival dates.

Here is the plan:
