Cypress Hill Burns Through NA, Europe
Festivals and a Wellness Retreat are on the menu for Cypress Hill in 2017, as the hip hop group plans to preview new tunes and celebrates a quarter-century of music.
The group will be joining Snoop Dogg on the Mount Kushmore Wellness Retreat for 10 shows up and down the West Coast, then Tucson, Ariz., Las Vegas and Salt Lake City, wrapping up at Morrison, Colo.’s

The band says it has been working on new material, and the performances will likely give a taste of the new stuff. An album will drop later this year. Cypress Hill celebrated the 25-year anniversary of its eponymous debut in 2016.

President Donald Trump is reportedly in support of medicinal uses of marijuana, but against recreational consumption, according to White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer. Recently confirmed Attorney General Jeff Sessions has expressed his belief that smoking marijuana is an “unhealthy practice,” and previously said “it does remain a violation of federal law to distribute marijuana throughout any place in the United States, whether a state legalizes it or not.”
