Eddie Vedder On His Own
Eddie Vedder unveils his first confirmed tour dates of 2017 – a solo excursion through Europe in late spring/early summer. The Pearl Jam frontman won’t truly be on his own because he’s bringing along Glen Hansard as his special guest.
With the exception of a handful of appearances in 2015 and 2016, Vedder hasn’t hit the road for a solo headline tour since 2014. In January he took the stage to play a handful of songs at Chicago’s

Pearl Jam last performed in August. Fans can count on the group announcing another tour sooner or later. After all, the band’s website declares, “Since 1990 Pearl Jam has toured over 38 countries and performed 968 shows with no stop in sight.” The band will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame next month.
Pearl Jam’s most recent studio album is 2013’s Lightning Bolt. Vedder released Ukulele Songs in 2011, following 2007’s “Into the Wild” soundtrack.
Vedder’s solo tour through Europe kicks off May 29 in Amsterdam. Here’s the plan:
