My Morning Jacket Announces Summer Excursion

My Morning Jacket unveils the routing for its first tour of 2017 – a summer road trip through the U.S. The fun begins June 22 in Cincinnati with a concert at PNC Pavilion At Riverbend.

The new headline dates go along with a previously announced show at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens (the band’s only New York appearance of the year) and festival gigs at Electric Forest and The Peach Music Festival.

MMJ is continuing to support its 2015 studio album, The Waterfall, which earned a Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Music Album.  Last year frontman Jim James released his second full-length solo album, Eternally Even.
