Avenged Sevenfold Fills In Summer Schedule
Avenged Sevenfold has signed on for a handful of U.S. headline dates, scattered in between the band’s support gigs with Metallica and festival appearances. Volbeat and A Day To Remember appear on select shows.
The setlist will feature favorites from throughout the band’s catalog, including its seventh studio album, The Stage. The 2016 LP hit No. 4 on the Nielsen Soundscan albums chart, as well as the top of the the rock, hard rock and alternative albums charts. And that’s just in the U.S. Worldwide, the album debuted in the Top 5 on itunes in more than 35 countries.
Rolling Stone describes The Stage as “an epic concept album about artificial intelligence, featuring the most aggressively bonkers music of the quintet’s career.” The release is the first to feature the band’s new drummer, Brooks Wackerman.
