Marian Hill Takes NA Headline Gigs

With a hit single burning its way to the top of the charts, electro-pop duo Marian Hill is booking headline dates to give fans a taste of its tunes live.

The song, which pop-radio listeners are likely starting to hear more of, is “Down.” It has been the most Shazam-ed (an app that identifies songs on the radio) track in the U.S. for a month and is climbing other charts.
“Down” was thrust into the public spotlight in an iPhone 7 commercial in January. That video shows noted dancer Lil Buck stepping on the streets and walls of Mexico City while Marian Hill provides the tunes. Check it out below:
The infectious melody now has its own music video to boot, just released two days ago:
The group released the Act One LP in 2016 and recently dropped the single “Back To Me” with Lauren Jauregui of Fifth Harmony. Those tunes show how the music is built around Jeremy Lloyd’s distinctive sampling style and Samantha Gongol’s breathy vocals.

Note that there is a doubleheader in Vancouver on June 6, meaning the duo will play two shows at separate venues on the same day, so superfans can see them in both spots.
One dollar from each ticket sold will benefit Planned Parenthood, the American Civil Liberties Union, or Natural Resources Defense Council through the charity organization Plus 1.
