North Mississippi Allstars Share ‘Prayer For Peace’

Brothers Luther and Cody Dickinson are the North Mississippi Allstars and they are coming to a town near you, with songs from their forthcoming album Prayer For Peace.

The Allstars, a Pollstar HotStar, already has a special 25th anniversary celebration planned for March 29 at Fox Theatre in Boulder, Colo. After that there is a three-night stand at Alyeska Resort in Girdwood, Alaska, March 30–April 1.
The new dates start in New Orleans, with a special appearance from Anders Osborne to form the super group N.M.O. on May 6. Things currently wrap up in San Francisco on June 16. Along the way there is another three-night residency at Antone’s in Austin, Texas, June 1-3 and an appearance at Flagstaff, Ariz.’s Blues & Brews Festival.
There is one international play scheduled, in Jarvenpaa, Finland, at PuistoBlues – Lakeside Blues Festival July 1. The band is promising a full world tour for this album, so more dates will be coming. There is also currently a gig planned for Morrison, Colo.’s famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Sept. 22 and one 2018 date in New York’s Carnegie Hall on Feb. 3.
Prayer For Peace is the groups’ latest push, and is available for preorder. It will hit shelves June 2. Check out the title track below:
