Duran Duran Takes Extra Summer Shows
Texas is already gearing up for a double-dose of Duran Duran tonight and tomorrow, but the band has also added five summer shows in North America and Hawaii to its plans.

Tonight’s show is at The Music Hall At Fair Park in Dallas and tomorrow will see the band in Sugar Land’s Smart Financial Centre. After that is Lollapalooza events in Brazil, Argentina and Chile, along with a headline show in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, on March 29.
Now, in addition to a few headline dates and a festival appearance in April, Duran Duran is scheduled to play two shows in California, two more in Alberta, Canada, and one show in Honolulu on Sept. 16. One of the Alberta shows, in Calgary, doesn’t have a venue confirmed yet.

The touring is in support of Duran Duran’s latest studio album, Paper Gods, which is on sale now. That album was produced by Mark Ronson and Nile Rodgers of Chic, and features John Frusciante, Kiesza, Janelle Monáe, and Smart Financial Centre.
Tickets to the July shows go on sale to the public on March 24, though fan club members get access to a presale that is already ongoing.
