Global Entertainment Buys Two More Festivals

Victorious Festival in Portsmouth, UK, and Hideout Festival on Zrce Beach, Croatia, are now among Global Entertainment’s portfolio.

Victorious takes place Aug. 25-27 with Rita Ora, Stereophonics, The Charlatans, Olly Murs, Frank Turner, Madness and more confirmed to take the stage.

Hideout welcomes Major Lazer, Stormzy, Hot Since 82, Dusky and more June 26-30. Daily capacity: 60,000 for Victorious and 10,000 for Hideout.

“Each of them is a renowned music festival with a strong and loyal following and we look forward to working with the festivals’ management teams to grow them to the next level,” said Global COO Ian Hanson.

Global also owns UK-based festivals South West Four and Field Day in London, Standon Calling in Hertfordshire, Truck Festival in Steventon, Y Not ? in Derbyshire, Rewind, which takes place at various sites, Boardmasters in Cornwall, Festival No 6 in Portmeirion, Wales, as well as Electric Elephant in Croatia and Snowbombing in Austria.

Hanson added that there were “more to come.”
