Tool Tacks On North America Dates

Tool is back, and it is making sure there is plenty of prog metal to go around, as Maynard James Keenan and Co. have added five new shows in the U.S. and Canada to its North American routing.

The band was already booked from late May until June 8 in Rosemont, Ill., and the new dates pick right up from there, starting in Saint Paul, Minn., on June 9.  Following three shows in the Great White North, the new closer is in Quincy, Wash., on June 17.
The lineup for Tool is currently Danny Carey on drums, Adam Jones on guitar, and Justin Chancellor on bass, with Keenan on vocals.

Presales for VIP packages go on sale March 22 at 10 a.m. PDT. The general onsales are March 24 at 10 a.m. local time except the St. Paul show, which goes on the same day at 11 a.m. CDT.
We still haven’t received any word on a new album from Tool, which hasn’t released new music since 2006.
