Lollapalooza Unveils 2017 Lineup
Chance The Rapper, The Killers, Muse and Arcade Fire lead the long list of acts making their way to the Windy City this summer for the annual Lollapalooza Festival.
Today’s announcement proclaims the event to be a “hero’s homecoming” for Chicagoan Chance The Rapper, who recently won the Grammy for Best New Artist and made headlines for donating $1 million to the city’s public schools. The 2017 edition marks The Killers’ fourth Lolla performance. Muse last played the festival in 2011 and Arcade Fire is returning for the first time in seven years.
The xx, Lorde, Blink-182, DJ Snake, Alt-J, Run The Jewels, Cage The Elephant, and Wiz Khalifa are also on board for the Aug. 3-6 festivities at Chicago’s Grant Park.

The Kidzapalooza lineup welcomes Tim Kubart & The Space Cadets, Lucky Diaz, Q Brothers, Sleepy Man, Jo Jo & The Pinecones, Lard Dog & The Band of Shy, Little Miss Ann, and School Of Rock Allstars.
Four-day general admission tickets went on sale Tuesday – and promptly sold-out. A limited number of four-day VIP tickets, four-day platinum tickets and hotel packages are still available. Single-day GA tickets and single-day VIP tickets went on sale this morning, priced at $120 and $650, respectively. The quoted prices do not included additional fees. For the first time, the festival is selling single-day platinum tickets for fans looking to take their experience to the next level. Children 10 and under are admitted free with a ticket-holding adult.
The 2017 event marks Lollapalooza’s 13th year in Chicago and the 26th edition overall since Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell launched it as a touring festival. Lolla now includes fests in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, France and Germany.
