Judah & The Lion Roars Through North America
Everything is coming up Judah & The Lion. The band is on the cover of Pollstar this week, has a radio hit, just released a new studio album, and now has a routing that includes headline dates and opening turns for Kaleo, Incubus and Jimmy Eat World.
The radio hit is “Take It All Back” and the album is Folk Hop N’ Roll, which came out earlier this month. You could describe the sound as Imagine Dragons meets Mumford & Sons, and the group is being featured as this week’s Pollstar HotStar.
Check out the group’s latest single, “Suit And Jacket.”
The band’s touring plans are extensive. They play tonight in St. Louis’s Delmar Hall and continue with a run of headline dates until the end of the month. April has a mix of headline dates and opening gigs for Kaleo, the last of which is April 22 at Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio.
The band plays BottleRock in May and has festivals like Governors Ball and Firefly in June and a play with Empire Of The Sun. July 6 is the beginning of the dates with Incubus and Jimmy Eat World, which run until Aug. 14 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. There are also more festival appearances scheduled during that span.
The last leg of the band’s routing is a run of headline dates which begins with two nights at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville Sept. 8-9. The last show currently on the books for Judah & The Lion is Oct. 26 at Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, Okla.
