Taking Back Sunday Books Summer Tour
Taking Back Sunday unveiled a wave of new tour dates this week, including stops in Boston, Dallas, San Diego, Las Vegas and Cleveland.
The alternative rock band from Long Island, N.Y., is continuing to support its seventh studio album, Tidal Wave, which was released in September via Hopeless Records.

A review from New Noise Magazine declares, “The album is a real step forward for the band, from the opening notes of ‘Death Wolf” to the closing tinkles of ‘I’ll Find a Way To Make It What You Want.’ The band pokes their heads into the shoegazing genre, pull back into their comfort zone, and then go out again with acoustic dalliances and atmospheric melodies that are few and far between on their past records. … I’m calling it now, this is the best album of the band’s career, musically.”
The summer tour kicks off July 14 at New York’s Webster Hall, following a bunch of festival appearances including Carolina Rebellion, Rock On The Range and Rocklahoma.
Every Time I Die is coming along as the band’s direct support. Modern Chemistry and All Get Out will take turns opening the shows.
