Foster The People Announces Summer Plans

Foster The People is ready to get back on the road and show off the new music it’s been working on. The indie pop / alternative rock band has added a bunch of U.S. headline dates to its world tour, with gigs scheduled from late May through early August.

The upcoming excursion is the group’s first trip through North America since 2015. Foster The People’s only dates in 2016 were scheduled in South Africa.

After taking the stage a few weeks ago at “Corona Anagrama Festival” in Guadalajara, Mexico, the band launches the world trek May 26 in San Diego.

An announcement says the follow-up to 2014’s Supermodel album is due out later this year on Columbia and that “the band will give fans a taste of the new material live on tour.”  Here’s the North American routing:
