Barry Manilow Speaks On Sexuality

Barry Manilow has finally publicly acknowledged his homosexuality and his marriage to his longtime manager, Garry Kief of Stiletto Entertainment.

The two married in 2014 at their home in Palm Springs, Calif., but Manilow, 73, chose not to speak about his sexuality all these years, as he told People magazine in an interview published today that he thought it would be “disappointing fans if they knew. So I never did anything.”

Kief is the president of Stiletto, which also manages Brenna Whitaker, Kyle Vincent, Lorna Luft and Spencer Day. 

Manilow is next scheduled to perform at the Concert For America: Stand Up, Sing Out! April 18 in New York followed by some headline dates in May.
