In the middle of March, police had received reports from people who had been cheated on Coldplay tickets they had paid for through the Carousell resale website, according to Channel News Asia.

The tickets were reportedly discounted, and after the buyers transferred their money they received nothing in return. When the buyers tried to contact the sellers, they were unable to locate or otherwise contact them.

An investigation eventually led police to two male suspects, aged 22 and 27, who were arrested on March 27. If convicted the two could be imprisoned for up to 10 years.
