The debut “Rock Getaway” is trumpeting itself as “the ultimate musical vacation destination for rock fans,” and with a lineup featuring Don Henley, Santana, Steve Miller Band, Roger Daltrey and more, it just might live up to the claim.

The event takes over the Hard Rock Hotel in Riviera Maya, Mexico, from Oct. 26 through Nov. 5. Fans have their choice of four-, seven- or 11-day packages, which boast all-inclusive food and beverages.
The star-studded list of performers also includes Bad Company, Foreigner, REO Speedwagon, Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, Cheap Trick, George Thorogood & The Destroyers, Don Felder, Blue Oyster Cult, Starship Featuring Mickey Thomas, Foghat, Queensrÿch, Los Lobos, Warren Hill, and Olivia Rox.
The backdrop to all that classic rock features “stunning tropical views, a private white sand beach and exclusive saltwater snorkeling areas.”

Whether you’re looking for relaxation or fun, the getaway offers plenty of options such as such as sunbathing by the pool, volleyball, basketball, pampering at the Posh Beauty Salon, late-night dance parties, or golf at The Hard Rock Gold Club Riviera Maya. You can also take advantage of excursions including sightseeing at the local Mayan Temples.
Packages at the Hard Rock Hotel start at $1,795 per person for the four-night “Bronze” stay. Accomodations are also available at the Unico Resort.
The four-day packages are scheduled Oct. 26-29 or Nov. 2-5, and both feature Steve Miller Band, Daltrey, Bad Company, REO Speedwagon, Benatar & Giraldo, Cheap Trick, Foreigner, Felder, Blue Oyster Cult, Foghat, Starship featuring Thomas, Queensryche, and Los Lobos.
Fans who opt for the seven-day packages – Oct. 26 to Nov. 1 or Oct. 30 through Nov. 5 – will also enjoy performances from Henley, Santana, Thorogood & The Destroyers, Sahnas Brothers, Hill, and Rox, as well as Atomic Punks (tribute to Van Halen) and Guns 2 Roses (tribute to Guns and Roses).
