Kenny Chesney Can’t Stay Off The Road

Kenny Chesney may be focusing on songwriting and recording in 2017, but the country artist loves his fans too much to completely give up performing and he has shared his summer plans, including his final four gigs of the year.

The first place you can catch Chesney is at Stagecoach in Indio, Calif., on April 30. After that are more festivals like C Spire Live, Carolina Country, Buckeye Country, and Country Jam.
There are six headline dates planned, the first four of which include special guest Midland. The last two gigs at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass., will feature appearances from Thomas Rhett and Gillette Stadium.
“As long as we’re rehearsing and I’ve got new music in the pipeline, I can’t imagine not playing a little bit,” Chesney said on his website. “I know that it takes time off to create and make records. … [B]ut that doesn’t mean I don’t miss the fans. There is nothing that feeds me more than hearing the sound of the No Shoes Nation singing these songs, seeing those faces and knowing this is gonna be one of those nights.”
Still no word on when to expect the new album, but here are his touring plans for 2017:

May 20 – Madison, Miss., Baptist Health Systems Amphitheater (C Spire Live)
June 10 – Myrtle Beach, S.C., Myrtle Beach Pavilion (Carolina Country Music Fest)
June 11 – Columbus, Ohio, Ohio Stadium (Buckeye Country Superfest)
June 15 – Grand Junction, Colo., Country Jam USA Grounds (Country Jam)
Aug. 4 – Tuscaloosa, Ala., Tuscaloosa Amphitheater
Aug. 5 – Orange Beach, Ala., The Wharf Amphitheater
Aug. 10 – Uncasville, Conn., Mohegan  Arena
Aug. 11 – Uncasville, Conn., Mohegan  Arena
Aug. 25 – Foxboro, Mass., Gillette Stadium
Aug. 26 – Foxboro, Mass., Gillette Stadium
Tickets to the Gillette Stadium shows are already available and the rest of the headline shows go on sale April 14 at 10 a.m. local time. No Shoes Nation premium member presales are ongoing.
