The Dead Daisies Trot The Globe

Still riding a wave of support after last year’s release of the album Make Some Noise, The Dead Daisies is touring North America, Europe, Japan and South America in the coming months.

The band currently consists of Doug Aldrich (of Whitesnake and Dio) and David Lowy (of Red Phoenix and Mink) on guitar, John Corabi (of Motley Crue and The Scream) on vocals, Marco Mendoza (of Thin Lizzy and Whitesnake) on bass and Brian Tichy (who has played with Ozzy Osbourne and Foreigner), though the group has collaborated with many other musicians over the years.
The rockers are in Europe starting June 2 at Gelsenkirchen, Germany’s Rock Hard Festival. They stay on that continent until July 1, then the band plays a pair of shows in Japan July 5-6.
There are currently four South American shows planned in Brazil, Argentina and Chile in July, with more promised. The Brazil gigs are with Richie Kotzen.
The North American dates are the most recently announced and went on sale today. That leg, called “The Dirty Dozen Tour,” starts Aug. 10 in Chicago and wraps up Aug. 27 in Las Vegas.
