AFI Joins Forces With Circa Survive
Emo mainstays Circa Survive and AFI are taking on North America together for a joint headline tour this fall, with support from Citizen.
AFI will be promoting tunes from its January release, AFI (The Blood Album), while Circa Survive’s most recent touring has been to celebrate the 10-year reissue of its breakthrough LP, On Letting Go.
The bands kick off the co-bill July 14 at Express Live! in Columbus, Ohio, and continue for three weeks, ending Aug. 5 at Paramount Theatre in Seattle. Some of the iconic venues on the docket are Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colo.; Brooklyn Bowl in in Las Vegas; and War Memorial Auditorium in Nashville.
AFI has several shows scheduled with Deftones in May and a solo show booked in the midst of the Circa Survive run, July 22 in Kansas City, Mo. At Arvest Bank Theatre At The Midland. The band also has headline shows planned in June and appearances at festivals like Firefly, Bunbury, and Arvest Bank Theatre At The Midland in the U.K.
