German Neuland Concerts Becomes Fully Independent
The management of Hamburg-based promoter Neuland Concerts bought the company out from Warner Music Germany. Neuland Concerts was established as a division of the label in 2008, and had been operating as a standalone company within Warner Music Germany since 2015.

The deal to go completely independent was finalized in April.
Neuland MD Christian Gerlach and Warner Music Germany chairman and CEO Bernd Dopp agreed to continue working closely, promoting the major’s artists’ tours Germany and elsewhere.
Artists jointly promoted in recent years include Alexa Feser, Biffy Clyro, Bruno Mars, Gary Clark Jr, Janelle Monae, Jason Derulo, Sturgill Simpson, Twenty One Pilots, and Wiz Khalifa.
New Neuland Concerts owner Gerlach said: “What once was started as a new business within the Warner Music Group has long since become a diversified company in the live market. By taking this step, we will now address the growing complexity and increasing diversity of our artist portfolio.”
Dopp commented: “Neuland Concerts is highly successful, having staged more than 5,000 events, from intimate club gigs to celebrated arena shows. It is now ready to operate fully independently and I am delighted that Christian Gerlach will be taking the company forward. I would like to thank the whole Neuland team for their efforts over the years and I wish them all the best for the future.”
