We already knew Gorillaz would be headlining destination North American festivals like Outside Lands, Festival D’été de Québec and Life Is Beautiful, but now the band has announced it will also have solo shows throughout the year.

Damon Albarn sings with Gorillaz as they perform their new album Humanz at Printworks in London March 24.
This marks the first record we have of Gorillaz touring North American since 2010.
In case you have forgotten, Gorillaz exists primarily as an “virtual” band with four members. The real-life musicians associated with the music have changed over the years, but the project is the brain child of Damon Albarn of Blur.
The first stop across the pond is in Chicago July 8 at Huntington Bank Pavilion @ Northerly Island. From there the band has dates on the continent for more than three months, finishing up at the III Points Festival in Miami on Oct. 13-15.
In the middle of those North American dates there is also one stop planned in Japan on July 28. The next gig for the band is the Huntington Bank Pavilion @ Northerly Island festival in Margate, England, on June 10.
The tour is a promotion of the upcoming Gorillaz album Humanz. That project is due out April 28 and is available for pre-order now.
