Reithler-Barros has more than 25 years of experience in media and international business development, having previously served as the vice president of global partnerships at SFX Entertainment Inc., the $1 billion conglomerate responsible for such electronic dance music brands as Tomorrowland, Stereosonic and Beatport.
Reithler-Barros is a “lifelong fan of electronic music” who has worn many hats in the entertainment industry, including those of promoter, artist, performer, producer, label owner, journalist and curator, according to a statement.
He has also worked at Netscape, Johnson & Johnson, Screaming Media, Verizon and Level 3 Communications.
“It’s no secret that China represents the largest and most nascent market potential for dance music culture in the world,” Reithler-Barros said. “Nothing could be more exciting than to engage it from multiple new angles, hand-in-hand with the talented staff and board of this visionary company.”
A2Live is the live-entertainment division of Shanghai-based Ato Ato Integrated Media. Since its establishment it has showcased a wide range of international and domestic artists, including Skrillex, Hardwell, Afrojack, Avicii, and David Guetta.
A2Live also carries out artist management and recently unveiled a new DJ/production academy and a record label.
