Yonder Mountain String Band Rambles Through North America

Get your dancing shoes on because Yonder Mountain String Band is spreading its bluegrass sounds around the U.S. this summer, with Tyler Childers supporting select dates.

The first place to catch Yonder Mountain this summer is at Telluride Bluegrass Festival, which runs June 14-18, though we know the band is taking the stage on the 17th. After that the headline run gets under way at The Waiting Room in Omaha, Neb., June 20. The last headline show is currently set to take place at Greenfield Lake Amphitheatre in Wilmington, N.C., July 9. The band then plays Northwest String Summit in North Plains, Ore., July 13-16.
The latest release from the former Pollstar HotStar is Mountain Tracks, Vol. 6, a live album which became available for download and streaming earlier this month. Before that, the last original release was 2015’s Black Sheep.

July 3 – Charlotte, N.C., U.S. National Whitewater Center
July 6 – Columbus, Ohio, A&R Music Bar
July 7 – Nashville, Tenn., Ryman Auditorium
July 8 – Black Mountain, N.C., Pisgah Brewing Company
July 9 – Wilmington, N.C., Greenfield Lake Amphitheatre
Jul 13-16 – North Plains, Ore., Horning’s Hideout (Northwest String Summit)  
Presales open April 19 and the general onsales begin on April 21.
Yonder Mountain String Band is also booked to play a special show with Gov’t Mule at Morrison, Colo.’s iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre Aug. 19. Fall festival appearances are scheduled at Thornville, Ohio’s Resonance Festival Sept. 21-23 and Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Eureka Springs, Ark., Oct. 12-15.
